. . . Sick of What?
I’ve been a Washingtonian nearly my entire life, and I’m a voter, too … and I just can’t see how our state can be getting deeper and deeper into trouble, and the way the power-brokered system works, voters are somehow convinced that their only choice is to send the same people that got us into the trouble back into office… to do what? More of the same? And where is more of the same going to get us? Well, I’m sick of it, and I’m asking for my shot at doing something about it.
I care enough that I’m willing to put my life on hold, get up out of my chair and volunteer to go up to Olympia and try to make some sense out of all this for those of us who are really paying the tab for our state government - but I’m just another voice on the editorial page if I can’t get the support of the people … ah, but with the support of the people, I can be a force to be reckoned with, and I hope I get my chance.
You know, on the battlefield, the guy who jumps out of the fox hole and yells ‘follow me’ as he charges up the hill … he draws all the fire. Well, I’m that guy.
- Give me a chance to lead the charge for a new Washington State agenda.
- Give me a chance to lead the charge for fiscal responsibility and less government regulation.
- Give me a chance to lead the charge for healthcare that provides real care, and education decisions that make sense for the students, not just for the school system administrators and contractors.
- Give me a chance to lead the charge for a more transparent governmental process that actually SERVES the PEOPLE rather than a process that serves the same old power brokers.
My name is Larry Cooney, and I love God, I love my family, I love the State of Washington and I’d love to serve you as the State Representative for the 23rd District. Please vote for me.
